Join us on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6 pm ET for a hybrid presentation (in-person or via Zoom) with author and historian Donald Smith whose 2022 book Steinstücken: A Little Pocket of Freedom brings to light a relatively unknown piece of Cold War history: the engaging success story of Steinstücken, a West Berlin neighborhood that was completely surrounded by Soviet Zone territory and later the German Democratic Republic, commonly known as East Germany. Books will also be for sale.
Light refreshments will be available.
