UPDATE: German at the GAHM – Sept. 9, 2020 – 10-Week Course

Our German language course at the GAHM (Advanced Beginners – A2 level) has been postponed to Sept. 9 due to the extraordinary situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic! If you are interested in registering, please contact [email protected].
New students are welcome! But please bear in mind that this course requires certain prerequisites such as knowledge of nominative and accusative cases, definite and indefinite articles, personal and possessive pronouns, and familiarity with verb conjugation.
Beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 9 we will continue our German-language course at our museum in Washington, DC’s Penn Quarter at 719 6th Street NW. This 10-week course will run from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, and continue with the foundations of the German language, including vocabulary, phrases, pronunciation, and grammar. Instructions will be interactive and immersive based on active listening, speaking and reading. The goal is to give you useful and practical skills with a solid foundation that you can apply immediately.
Each course will cost $360 for members, and $400 for non-members. Get a 10% discount if you register before Aug. 15, 2020.
Memberships begin at just $50 per year, and the membership discount remains in effect until Dec. 31, 2020. Please note that the textbook “Themen Aktuell 1” (Kursbuch und Arbeitsbuch. Lektion 1 – 5. Mit CD), which consists of a coursebook and workbook with CD, can be bought independently or, should students desire to do so, through us.
