Video of German-American Day 2020

Thank you to everybody who participated in and attended our very first virtual German-American Day celebration via Zoom. If you missed it, we are happy to provide you with a link to our YouTube channel, where you can watch the event in its entirety.

This virtual premiere included a live reading of the White House’s Proclamation by GAHF board member Hardy von Auenmüller, the proclamations of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, as well as musical entertainment provided by Alex Meixner, the American Virtuosi, greetings from Germany’s Ambassador to the United States Emily Haber and former California Governor Jerry Brown along  with voices from the GermanAmerican community.
