Spring Concert with the Alpine Singers on April 19 from 2-4 pm

The popular Alpine Singers will be back at the German-American Heritage Museum with a spring and Easter concert on Saturday, April 19 from 2 – 4 pm.

Founded in 1996 by the late Herbert Traxler and his wife Carol Traxler, the Alpine Singers perform a variety of Austrian and German music. The a capella singing group performs in the greater Washington area with a repertoire ranging from Volksmusik to Jodler,  and from Baroque music to the works of living composers. Join us just in time for Easter for music, cake, coffee and sparkling wine at the GAHM to celebrate spring. All children under the age of 12 will receive a a chocolate Easter bunny. We look forward to welcoming you at the GAHM. You can even wear your best dirndl.

The concert will feature a selection of Jodler and folk songs such as Kein  Schöner Land. The exact repertoire will be communicated at a later date.

$25 for general public
$20 for members
$55 for families including two 2 children under the age 12
