Christmas 2019

The Board of Directors of the German-American Heritage Foundation and the staff of the German-American Heritage Museum in Washington, D.C. wish you all a very merry Christmas, and a new year filled with happiness, success, and health!

Wir wünschen Ihnen ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und alles Gute für das neue Jahr!

Thank you for being a part of our German-American community this year. We look forward to presenting you with a number of enriching programs and exhibits in celebration of the nation’s German-American heritage, and the longstanding friendship between the two countries in 2020!

Museum Closure from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1
Please note that the GAHM will be closed in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day beginning Tuesday, Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. We will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, and look forward to welcoming you to our Fritz Faiss exhibit (until April 2020), and to an entertaining evening of German Gemütlichkeit on Friday, Jan.17 with the classic comedy “Die Feuerzangenbowle” — complete with rum-laced punch. Tickets are available online now.
