During this period I was actively involved in the acquisition of Hockemeyer Hall including the establishment of the headquarters of our organization and its museum.
As such, I am completely aware of our Mission, History and By-Laws. In all those years I have regularly attended almost all board and special meetings.
I have been a Council of 1,000 member for a long time and have supported the Organization financially.
We must now strive to put the organization on a sound financial footing without encumbering Hockemeyer Hall with a mortgage. I have proposed that we promote the GAHF and its museum nationally by advertising in German-American publications with regular ads. We have started with one ad but should lay out a program for ads in magazines for a full year.
I will continue to be an active board member as I have clearly demonstrated in the past.
