Our latest Night at the Museum was held on Friday, April 29th. 25 professionals from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area gathered to enjoy the Museum after hours to expand their networks and practice their German. While indulging in German-style food and beverage, those present were also able to get a “sneak peak” of the Museum’s latest exhibit, In Praise of the Pencil, part of the institution’s current German Entrepreneurship Series.
This event series held at the German-American Heritage Museum downtown DC, is a successful merging of various DC-area Stammtische, or German language tables. GAHM’s Night at the Museum attracts audiences of astounding diversity; individuals spanned the board in terms of professions, backgrounds, ages, and knowledge of German. The unifying interest in German language, culture, and history makes for highly successful and lively events.
Night at the Museum is the creation of our board members Vice President Ronald Kosmahl and Stephen Staudigl, who also generously donate to the evenings.
