European Union Embassies Open House
The German-American Heritage Foundation’s (GAHF) was present with a table, at the German Embassy, during the European Union Embassies’ Open House Day on May 14th! From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. the embassies’ doors were open to the public and visitors learned about the culture, traditions, food, and heritage of the respective countries. GAHF welcomed over 900 visitors to our table, which was located close to the piece of the Berlin Wall on loan from the German-American Heritage Foundation to the Embassy..
The entire staff of the GAHF participated and interacted with visitors. People walked away with information of German-American Heritage, our latest exhibit “In Praise of the Pencil” and our upcoming trips.
